Biff the Vampire

- The Tale of a Vampire Far From Home -

Started in February of 2007, 'Biff the Vampire' is an online newspaper-style comic strip. Biff is new to the U.S., fresh from Romania. He has to make his way in a land he doesn't quite understand along with dealing with friends. roommates and being a modern monster in a mortal world.

The strip itself is a slice-of-life comedy set in a fictionalized version of Willimantic, Connecticut.

Ghouls'R Gals

- Monster Girls doing Regular Things -

This idea came from a mix of things. It's partly an exercise in drawing different critters that could appear (and have) in BtV. It's also my reaction to the popular "Monster Girl" pics I would see at the time. Instead of half-naked critters with bedroom eyes, my take leans toward girls doing average things who just happen to be monsters of some sort.

Over the years, I've drawn a number of monster girl pics. I even complied a book of them in 2013 called "Ghouls'R Gals" available through my shops via Gumroad. The ultimate goal is less a constant product and more a neat series of images and characters with no ties to a proper title.

Drawlloween

- A Month of Spooky Drawings -

In 2015, I took the leap and tried my hand at a themed month of drawings. Being the spooky guy I am, the month I chose was October and the themed lists was called "Drawlloween".

Each year, there's a new (or differently ordered) list of simple prompts for each day of the month. I draw a relatively quick pencil pic for each day based on the prompt. The end result is thirty one pics done in a month. I pack them up into a big ol' book with simple bits of story, ideas, or the history of the character's source. Each one I make is available through my shops via Gumroad.

The best part of this whole exercise is I have limited setup and research time and I can't be precious with my ideas. It has lead to some of these images become more than an one-off image with a quick blurb. A few have become reoccurring gags or found their way into other projects and products.
